My morning is meticulously planned so that I know what I need to be doing at every particular moment. At 6:45, I am out of the shower and starting to put on makeup Oh, it is 7:05? I should be finished drying my hair and starting to straighten. It is now, 7:20 I should be dressed, getting my breakfast ready and start making my lunch while eating. 7:30 it is time to brush teeth, get all my stuff together, and spray perfume and lotion right before heading out the door at precisely 7:39. My mornings are probably the most time managed part of my life. I am usually spontaneous and go with the flow, but not with my mornings, oh no, siree. The other day, a good friend suggested that I try pushing the snooze button just once to see how I like it. For days, I have been contemplating whether or not I would hit that blasted button. Last night, I decided that today would be the day. I set my alarm for nine minutes prior to my scheduled wake up time (so that it wouldn't set me nine minutes behind schedule), and I went to bed. This morning the alarm rang, I jumped out of bed and then I realized that today was the day. I got back in bed and layed there. I just closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep. Nothing. The minutes ticked by, each feeling like an eternity. Finally, the alarm rang its awful noise and I happily got out of bed. This morning I lost out on 9 minutes of precious sleep all because of the dumb snooze button. Never Again. Never Again
