Purchase my love for $10

It ain't my birthday, but Independence Day is coming up on July 4th, and I think this toothbrush would make the best Independence Day gift a girl could ever ask for. $10 dollars is a small price to pay for my eternal love.*

I wanted to start blabbing about all the cool features, then I realized the specs can be read right there in the picture. Life can't possibly get any better than having Bieber serenade you for 2 whole minutes with a different tune morning and night. The toothbrush can be found here. I expect at least 10 of these in my mailbox come July.

*I am experiencing a mild amount of embarrassment admitting to my case of Bieber Fever on my blog, but it can't be helped. It doesn't help the situation that I commented on Jerika's status, "I think my main problem with her [Selena Gomez] has mostly to do with jealousy [of her and JBs relationship.]" I understand, I am officially creepy.

A lost pair of shoes found. Oh heavenly day!

Today I cleaned out my desk drawers at work. I should have taken pictures of the before. It was an absolute mess. In my desk I found, among many other things:

2 old keyboards
a 2009 Utah calendar
$70 of un-used Amazon gift cards I had forgotten about (sweet!)
Hello Kitty wrapping paper
a pair of shoes I thought I had lost

And...the after...I obviously keep a lot of important personal belongings in my desk. Tomorrow I shall tackle the cabinet where I keep water and snacks. Something to look forward to.

I did little else today at work besides this and dream of the town home I want to move into in August. And by dream, I mean scour the internet for decorating ideas, plan color boards, and look for deals on bedroom furniture. Although it is scary to think I may move into a place where I have to buy my own furniture, it will be awesome to have things that match, are my taste, and have a new mattress I can know for sure hasn't been peed on by previous occupants.

Yes, I am aware that I lead an amazingly boring, yet satisfyingly happy life.

Britton, oh, Britton

My dear Britton asked me to write a blog post about him. I am pretty sure he thought I wasn't listening when he made his request. Little did he know I can update my sister's blog, watch Mulan, Facebook, listen to him talk, and watch him play Portal 2 all at the same time. I guess it's a woman thing. I wrote this poem especially for Britton. From my heart. And my head. It may not make sense, but go with it.
I will never forget the day Britton Ehret Kowalk came into my life.
I always look back on that day, just like Lot's wife.
I told him we were going to be the best of friends
He looked at me, shrugged and said, "It depends"
I stood up, pouted and said, "Depends on what?"
To which he replied, "I have homework to do, move out of my way you filthy mutt."
He strutted off not be bothered with fun and joy,
and I knew at once that this was no ordinary college boy.

You see, Britton was super devoted to school -
he wasn't nobodies fool.
I had to break down his wall one stone by one single stone
My silliness and un-mature ways made him groan
But he loved the odd red-head, there is no denying it
We became fast friends, splat, lickity split.
And I loved the brainiac blonde,
way more than I love wading in the duck pond.

Britton likes to shoot people with his nerf gun
and is always up for all kinds of fun (unless he is doing homework)
If you try and tell me B. Kowalk is numero two
I will round house kick you like a kangaroo.
He is the first, he is the best
and yes, he does have quite the hairy chest.
One time, in San Diego, I tried to kiss this fine specimen
and he told me, "I would never! Now go get a tan!"
In short, Britton is one of my favorite people ever
He is kind, wonderful and clever
He has a crush on almost every girl
especially when they have their hair in a curl
Also, he is a lover of all animals on this globe we call home
Their matted fur, he loves to comb
This poem needs to end, it is dumb as a rock
But I love Britton Ehret Kowalk!
