Britton, oh, Britton

My dear Britton asked me to write a blog post about him. I am pretty sure he thought I wasn't listening when he made his request. Little did he know I can update my sister's blog, watch Mulan, Facebook, listen to him talk, and watch him play Portal 2 all at the same time. I guess it's a woman thing. I wrote this poem especially for Britton. From my heart. And my head. It may not make sense, but go with it.

I will never forget the day Britton Ehret Kowalk came into my life.
I always look back on that day, just like Lot's wife.
I told him we were going to be the best of friends
He looked at me, shrugged and said, "It depends"
I stood up, pouted and said, "Depends on what?"
To which he replied, "I have homework to do, move out of my way you filthy mutt."
He strutted off not be bothered with fun and joy,
and I knew at once that this was no ordinary college boy.

You see, Britton was super devoted to school -
he wasn't nobodies fool.
I had to break down his wall one stone by one single stone
My silliness and un-mature ways made him groan
But he loved the odd red-head, there is no denying it
We became fast friends, splat, lickity split.
And I loved the brainiac blonde,
way more than I love wading in the duck pond.

Britton likes to shoot people with his nerf gun
and is always up for all kinds of fun (unless he is doing homework)
If you try and tell me B. Kowalk is numero two
I will round house kick you like a kangaroo.

He is the first, he is the best
and yes, he does have quite the hairy chest.
One time, in San Diego, I tried to kiss this fine specimen
and he told me, "I would never! Now go get a tan!"
In short, Britton is one of my favorite people ever
He is kind, wonderful and clever
He has a crush on almost every girl
especially when they have their hair in a curl
Also, he is a lover of all animals on this globe we call home
Their matted fur, he loves to comb
This poem needs to end, it is dumb as a rock
But I love Britton Ehret Kowalk!
