The thing I'm most thankful for right now is elastic waistbands.

I have to be honest and say that this semester has been one of the, if not the most, stressful, frustrating, and insane semesters of my life. I also have to say that this weekend/week has been one of the best things that has happened to me this semester (and it has almost absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I have that apartment to myself.) So many good things have happened. They aren't even significant things per se, but all of them combined have just made my life feel all the much better. I am going to recount some of them...you don't have to read them if you don't want but they are some things that just have made me happy.

Tuesday- I have a lot due right after Thanksgiving break and right before finals. On Tuesday, I decided that I was going to stay on campus pretty much all day and work on some projects. I often have problems concentrating for long periods of time, but I got so much done before I went home that a seriously large weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I am pretty sure that I skipped home, but I can't be positive. My Tuesday was that Amazing.

I went home and was going to watch a movie in my lonely apartment, but I got a text from Brett Kocherhans inviting people to a Comedy Sportz show that was going to start in about 45 minutes. I almost didn't go because I was incredibly tired, but I decided to. Matt, Brett and I went, and Kristen came towards the end. We then got some food from this little hole-in-the wall cafe called Sammy's. So good. After, we came to my place and Morgan Williams joined us and played Nertz for hours...Of course, I lost, but it was so much fun! I love every single one of those guys and girl. After the boys left Kristen and I had a nice long talk.  I love girl talk!

Wednesday- I worked, which doesn't sound great, but I was able to get a lot done. After work, I decided I needed to be pampered so I went to the spa, and it was amazing. Sometimes you just need to splurge on yourself. Right when I got home, a friend called me and we went to dinner (Sammy's...again). Right after dinner, Evelyn called me and we went shopping together. It was so nice to spend some time with her. I feel like I never get to see her anymore...that is what boyfriends do to you though!

Today- I woke up. Went to the store to get some ingredients to make the worlds best pie! YUM! I bought a rolling pin, finally. If you know me at all, you know that is something that I have wanted to buy for a long time! I then came home, made the pie, talked to Beth, got ready, went over to my brothers, played some Rock Band, went over to my Bishops for dinner (which was actually a lot of fun. It was really cute to see Jon playing with all the little kids. He will really got the boys riled up. He will make a great father someday), came home, turned on the Christmas music, cleaned for a couple hours and then put up my little 3 ft. Christmas tree...It is really cute! I wish I wasn't so cheap, and then I would go out and buy some more cute things for my apartment. Unfortunately, it isn't really practical when you move every year, and when the Provo Christmas festivities are shortened because you go home for break!

Speaking of which, can I say how much I love my family, and how I can't wait to go home and spend Christmas with them? They are amazing. Golly, I think I love just about everything about my parents and each of my siblings. I rarely get homesick, but I can say that I am a little bit right now (but just a little)! 3 more weeks...let the countdown begin....

You can't have a post this dang long without some sort of picture. I am posted a wallpaper that Robyn and I made for my computer 3 years ago. It is a joke, don't get offended. I was going to put it at the bottom, sort of like a "surprise", but alas, I am dumb at these sorts of things and frankly don't care enough to figure it out, so the picture is staying at the top.
