See ya later August! Welcome September!

I am really excited for August to be over and for September to start. August was kind of a hard month for me, to be completely honest. So, I am going to put August behind me and I am looking forward to September. School started for everyone today (well, not me!) I am really excited for this because I will get home from work and not have to do homework like everyone else! I will no longer be missing out on all the fun things that people are doing while I am at work Yay!

This weekend I went to Caitlin’s mission farewell in St. George (she leaves for the MTC is about a week to serve her mission in Independence, MO!). She gave a wonderful talk, and I was/am just so proud of her. It was just a short trip (there and back in 24 hours), but it was nice to go down and see her and her family.

I also moved into an new apartment! It is in the same complex, but now I have my own room with a nice and cozy double bed! I also have my own bathroom (although barely big enough to squeeze into…I joke that the shower is not big enough for me to shave my legs in.) Really the bathroom is less than 20 sq. ft. Note to Family: it is about the size of the mudroom bathroom…just with a shower, washer and dryer added into it. Why is the washer/dryer in there? Weird… It is really nice to finally have a space that is entirely my own and I can do with it what I want though. I am excited for the privacy. I put up some curtains and some shelves and am really trying to make it a space that I feel comfortable in...my own little haven. I have even been cleaning up/making my bed every morning before I leave for work! If you know me, you will know that that is a miracle. I also bought some organizational things to make more storage room in my bathroom. When I get completely organized, I will put pictures up. It will be so cute. My roommates also seem really nice, and I am excited to get to know them more.

That is my life as of now! Kind of boring...but it is my life and I like it!
