Always an Adventure, Always...

How we have fun in Provo, UT! Yay for the Festival of Colors!

Long ago I decided that there is never a dull moment in my life, and when my life starts to get dull, something happens. I am a little reckless too, so that probably helps with the whole lack of dullness.
Last week, I was at Progressive Power Tumbling...you know, tumbling, and jumping, and doing all sorts of things when I landed funny on my back and neck and felt like I had slept on my neck really weirdly for the last couple weeks. I didn't really think anything of it, but then the next day, I could not really move. I struggled through the day and meandered home in severe pain, and decided then that I would go to the doctor the next day. Turns out I sprained my back and neck. A lot of people have asked me what a sprain is here is my finding from tons of research...aka...Wikipedia....

A sprain (from the French espraindre - to wring) is an injury which occurs to ligaments caused by being stretched beyond their normal capacity and possibly torn. Muscular tears caused in the same manner are referred to as a strain. In cases where either ligament or muscle tissue is torn, immobilization and surgical repair may be necessary.

I hope you learned something from that. So basically, I am on a few meds, get to go to physical therapy, and get shots in my back! Woohoo! I am feeling pretty much better now, but I can feel when it is time for me to take my medicine. I have started moving around a lot more, which I am not supposed to do, but I get too excited about things and start prancing and jumping around. Bad idea...

Quick story on how the meds have affected me. On Friday night I had a date. We were getting up from eating and I was feeling a little dizzy from the elephant pill I had taken an hour before. Got up from the table and fell right on over. Onto the ground. Some random guy had to catch me. How Embarassing. I am just glad the dress I was wearing didn't go flying over my head. The End.
