Summer is most definitely my favorite time of the year. Love it! I love spending time outside and being active and running around like I my head has been cut off. Everything comes alive. It's Wonderful!
So...today is my last day of work at the ID Center and starting today at 6 pm I will be in the same boat as millions of other Americans-Unemployed. To be honest, it is kind of bitter sweet. It will be nice to have a break and have some time to take it easy, at least for about 2 weeks. Hopefully, I will be able to find a job by then.
Also, Wonderful news coming from the Benne family! My wonderful sister, Allison, is engaged!!!! Wahoo! I still have yet to meet this chap, and won't, until the wedding, but I am sure he is a strapping lad because I expect nothing less for Allison. The wedding is July 25th in New York City and so I will be going out there for a week or so. Oh boy, she is going to look gorgeous!!!! I LOVE weddings! Wahoo!
