This blog post might be the hodgiest podgeiest blog post that I have written. Ever. But this post is all about the fun and good times that I have been having this month. A lot of random stuff too. The first part of the blog is all from one rainy boring Saturday that turned out to be one of the most random Saturdays of my entire life.
First, we played cards. In the rain. On the lawn of the Provo Library. Right by the busiest street in all of Provo. Let me emphasize the IN THE RAIN part. Needless to say, this part did not last very long. In fact, we didn't even play a real card game. We just sort of threw the cards around.
Next, we took a trip to the pool and watched a ward Pirate themed activity where they had all made boats to race in the pool. While they raced, we watched. All from the safety of the hot tub. Oh yeah, we also ate ice cream while watching. This is pure joy at its finest. Except Britton. Britton looks like he is about to start a philosophical discussion about the invention of the fork.
Next we took a trip in Rico's jeep and went mudding. True red neck style. I don't know what, but something turns me off to the idea of playing in mud. Maybe it's because of parasites that live in mud and my general dislike of muddy ears. So I took the honor of photographing everyone while they rolled around in the mud like pigs. I did let me roommate put some mud on my face though, which I thought was very nice of me :)
Next we went home, cleaned up and took a trip to In n' Out. Sorry all you Californinians out there, but I don't like it. I never really have. Sue me. After In n' Out we went to Toys R Us and played. Played on the bikes, played with the balls, and took a ride in Fred and Wilma's personal real life-sized car. Oh boy what an adventure that ride was.
END OF SUPER FUN SATURDAY. NOW IS THE START OF SOMETHING NEW. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Can you find me in this picture? Hint, Rico is kind of fat.
This month I also went on a hiking binge and went on a total of TWO hikes! That must be some sort of record, at least for me. First, I hiked Squaw Peak and I must say that I did a mighty fine job of keeping up with the Chris and Matt who were practically running up the mountain. The view at the top of the peak was spectacular...and very windy (can you tell by my hair?) This hike made me realize that I have zero desire to ever hike Timp. Ever.
For anyone that didn't know me when I was younger (high school) you may not know my general hatred that I had of hiking. I think you can tell how happy I was about hiking from the picture below! ahahah. I was such a dork.
I love summer because I can go out and do all these fun things! I wish it could last forever but it is always the part of the year that goes by the fastest. In the mean time, I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Suggestions are always welcome!

I can't even begin to describe all the reasons why this blog post is the happiest thing I've seen all day. I'm moving our backup plan marriage date up again. To Thursday. I hope you don't have plans.
Kim Benne I love you! and totally miss you! Thanks for the update on your life.
Well I suggested you come and watch me clean my apartment yesterday but nooo. I would have even let you help!
Favorite thing of the whole post? That first picture- where you are laying in the grass playing cards- what purpose does that towel serve!? I see you are the only one with a one. hmm. haha you are great!
Just out of curiosity...if Kimball had his feet up, who has powering the Flintsone car?
Luckily I am a very strong woman and was able to power the car with one leg. Granted, we didn't get very far. In fact, I don't think we moved more than 3 inches forward without going 3 inches back.
