Some people ask "why", I ask "why not"

Sometimes I do some pretty stupid things.

Yesterday after work I decided to go shopping. I was at the mall in the dressing room, and I noticed something really embarrassing. Not only was my shirt on inside out but on backwards too! I had spend the entire day like that! Ugh. There aren't any tags on the shirt and it was black, so I don't think it was super noticeable. I'm just embarrassed I would do something so dumb! I have also been known to go to the pool with my swimsuit on inside out. I'm an idiot. Luckily I can take comfort in knowing I am not the only one that suffers from this syndrome. I always knew I liked Luke from Modern Family

Ever heard of using a safety pin to separate your eyelashes after putting on mascara? Seventeen magazine taught me that trick, so did Julia Roberts in Charlie Wilson's War. Any idiot knows this is an accident waiting to happen. Except for me. That accident happened this morning. As someone who is easily startled, I am surprised this is the first time it happened (Though I did burn my eyeball with a curling iron once). I am now suffering from a corneal abrasion in my left eye, poor vision, and tear stained cheeks. Lesson learned.

Sometimes I do some pretty awesome things though.

For example, at said mall last night I went into my favorite store, Banana Republic. Not only were all their sale items an additional 40% off, but they had a coupon they were giving every for an additional 25% off your entire purchase. (The sale is going through the weekend) I did the math and I got $470 worth of clothing for $40. Go me!

My Breakdown:
  • 1 pair of work pants: Originally $90. Me: $13
  • 2 silk skirts: Original: $80 Me: 3.11 each
  • 1 striped skirt: Original: $80 Me: $8
  • 1 work blouse: Original: $80 Me: $8
  • 1 tank: Original: $60 Me: $5

That sale WAS amazing. I had a few things picked out then got a phone call and as I was talking, somehow put everything back and walked to my car. Stupid
