I did it! I finally bought a bike! It's a Schwinn. I have been wanting to buy one for a few months now, ever since I took a wonderful ride on a friends bike down the Provo River Trail. In the two weeks that I have had my bike, I seriously think that I have already gotten my moneys worth. Today, I was a little bored and it was a beauitful day, so I decided to go on a bike ride. Granted, it was only about a half hour, but I loved every minute of it. I went up to campus and just biked around and looked at the pretty landscaping. When I am riding my bike, I can't help but smiling the entire time. Another perk of bike ownership? I am also in a bike gang. We are pretty intimidating and love taking late night bike rides. We even have our own website! (
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=117433318299509&ref=ts). Visit it for a fun time. Yes, I know it is a Facebook group, but it still rocks! I need to go out to take a picture of my beautiful shiny ice blue bike, but frankly, I am too lazy right now. I will post one later.
Secondly, today, I went fishing and had a lovely time. Fly-fishing to be precise. Here is a little taste as to what I looked like:

And when I say, "this is what I looked like" I mean, I was standing in a river with mountains behind it. Those are the only similarities. Take away the waders and the good cast that mystery woman is doing and add rain boots, sunglasses, a dorky hat, sweat pants and me standing awkwardly on a rock with Kimball supporting me from behind so I don't fall into the water and you have me. I must have looked like the worlds goofiest fisher, but I had so much fun. We caught 2 things. 1. A net and 2. the fishing pack. Fairly successful fishing trip I would say :) Actually, I did get one bite during the 4 1/2 hours we were out there. A real live fish! Unfortunately, Kimball had not taught me how to set the hook yet so we lost it. Humbug. Oh well, I am excited to go out again soon and see if I can actually catch something.
