"You're going someplace cool!"

This past week, Erin got her mission call! She is going to serve in the Tokyo, Japan mission for a year and a half! I am so excited for her and know that she will make a great missionary. I am sure it is going to be hard, but she will do so good. Here is the video of her opening her call:


haha. Her application of a passport was on top of her call, so she knew she was going foreign before we saw where she was going!

Also, I have planted a small garden on my windowsill. I have the world's un-greenest thumb and am completely surprised that my plants aren't all dead by now. Sure, they may not look healthy and thriving, but I haven't killed any of my plants in at least a few weeks. This is good news. My garden has basil, oregano, cilantro, parsley, zinias, a lot of some other flower and petunias. I love the green that the garden brings to my apartment. Hopefully, it will last forever!
